Camera work requires a different set of skills to stage acting. The basics remain the same, but the techniques for performance are substantially different. This workshop has been created to give actors the chance to hone and practice their camera technique in a safe and supportive environment.

SLAP! PUNCH! FALLS, & SWORD FIGHTING! This exciting new class will introduce students to safe and convincing stage fighting techniques. Create exciting fight scenarios and learn how the pros make it look so real! Students will perform fight routines.
 

This class is for students who want to develop as a professional in the theatre business. This class includes but is not limited to auditioning, monologues, stage presence, acting, preparing for a role, and the business of theatre. Students will learn the expectation of the theatre world.

A dance audition can be a stressful experience without the right tools. This workshop will help you prepare for and excel at the audition experience as you move forward with your dance. Topics will cover how to dress, warming up, audition attitude and etiquette, what to eat for maximum energy, what rejection really means, when the audition process actually begins, performance preparation, and more.

 

Belt with the best of them while you learn the styles of musical theatre! This class will concentrate on musical theatre repertoire while learning song interpretation through character development both in a group and solo. What a fantastic way to gain confidence for that next audition.

Monologues, scene study, techniques in improvisation, and theatre games are all employed to help students become versatile actors.

For students who want to learn the spontaneity of improvisation! This class will help students build confidence, think on their feet, and re act! Basic improv fundamentals will be taught. Students will be encouraged to use their imaginations while creating scenes and characters.
This class is not a film class or an on-camera acting class.

Renee Chambers-Liciaga's workshop will give you a chance to learn exciting combinations from Broadway shows like “Smokey Joe's Cafe”, "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Westside Story", and others. Here is a chance to brush up on your audition skills or just have some fun!
 

As actors we have to master cold reading in order to have FUN and  BOOK JOBS!!! The ability to excel at cold reading is what separates novices from pros and working actors from those who just enjoy spending lots of time and gas going to auditions. Which category do you want to fall into?
Let’s face it, most of the time the most difficult part about our job is the auditioning process. There are many subtle tips and tricks you can utilize in the audition that can make a huge difference when a director is viewing a casting tape and comparing one person to another back to back to back……..

That’s why this on-camera workshop will be so beneficial.
You know what you want to do during an audition.
You know what you think you did - as you are driving home.
But unless you can SEE yourself actually auditioning and see the difference a few changes will make in this process, you will not work as much as others who are more proficient at it. It’s as simple as that.

Learn the basic elements of constructing a dance piece ,theater number and basic "stage" blocking. Dance notation, Staging, counting, and all disiplines of dance terminology will also be explored in this class
