Ok, so you're thinking about
hiring
me to coach
you privately!
If
you're thinking that you
would like to hire a
professional martial
arts master instructor to coach you to
your next level of personal
development, the
following explains a bit
more about how it's going to
work.
Small Things
First...I LIVE my life with the idea that ACTION
speaks louder than words. I
say, "follow me!" as we
work toward mastery of self.
I believe that
small things, small efforts,
eventually add up to be big
accomplishments. Take
push-ups for example: 100
push-ups a day totals more
than 36,500 push-ups in
12-months. Or take "acts of
kindness" ---it only takes 3
acts of kindness a day to
accumulate 1000 in a year's
time.
This is my
approach to personal,
business, community, and,
perhaps -- even
universal
transformation. I focus on small, bite-sized
DAILY activities -- which
eventually add up to be
significant accomplishments.
This is how one becomes a
black belt, a doctor, a
loving mate, a reader, a
writer, an activist, a
successful parent, a
successful professional, etc.
By expanding the concept
of "the black belt test"
from kicks & punches to
daily actions & choices; and a day or a weekend to
THREE MONTHS, SIX MONTHS OR
ONE YEAR, you have the
opportunity to participate
in a much more COMPLETE kind
of
transformational
curriculum. I change the event from a
"test" of skill and
endurance, to
a test about
living a quality lifestyle,
living with a continuing
sense of mission, and enlists the power of small,
repetitive behaviors to
bring about change, clarity,
and purpose.
Live Like A Champion
I will ONLY
privately coach those who
desire to
strive for
excellence and live
life
like a champion. Not to
compete against anyone, but
to
challenge one's self to
become better and to make
life choices that a true
champion would make. From
sun up to sun down.
Talk &
walk like a champion.
Never, Never, Never Quit
If you want to be a
champion, if you want to be
a role model, if you want to
achieve those things that
drive you, that you aspire
to, then the sub-atomic
ingredient,
the smallest
common denominator of your
success is perseverance.
There is always a way, there
is always a way to adjust
expectations, there is
always a lesson to be
learned; and with me as your
coach,
QUITTING
is not an option. Go
ahead, stumble, fail, and
fall flat on your face, but
keep going. If at first you
don't succeed, try --and
then try again. Fall down 7,
get up 8.

If it's ONE THING you
learn in the study of the
martial arts, let it be your
understanding of the POWER
in
not giving up,
despite (or perhaps, because
of) the obstacles.
And a side note: Perhaps,
in the world, there are
times when you can't win.
You can't, for example, no
matter how focused you are,
cheat death. It's coming.
There are other things we
have little or no control
over, but in the context of
THREE, SIX OR 12 MONTHS of
martial arts training, you
CAN persevere. In the big
picture of life, this period
of time physical, mental,
emotional, and spiritual
training program is small
potatoes. YOU CAN DO IT
-- and you will not fail to
see it through.
Private Training with
Me in a Nutshell
With me as your coach, you
WiLL train every
day for "x" amount of months. You tell everyone you
know that you're "testing"
-- and you do this to enlist
their help and to
put
yourself in a position where
failure is not an acceptable
option. You work to engage
as many people as you can in
your test -- so the program
becomes more than simply
your personal
accomplishments. You connect
with your support team and
SHOW THE WORLD how one
"plays team." You treat your
test, whether you're testing
for rank or not, as if it
were your personal Olympics.
You take every step, every
direction, and you come to
every session.
If you endeavor to make a
part -- or all -- of your
program or test something that makes people
say...
"WOW!"
